The usefulness of a USA Bank Account can never be over emphasized, but for the sake of this article i would give two reasons.
#1. As it is now, i don't think Google AdSense can still approve any Nigeria AdSense again. Many bloggers are creating UK and USA AdSense and they are making it. But one of the big set backs is a bank account.
#2. With a USA bank account, you can pay all of your bills by check, and manage your bill payments online. In addition, many banks issue debit cards with a MasterCard or Visa emblem, which enables you to use the card to make purchases anywhere that accepts credit cards.
There are two main types of bank accounts in the USA.
Checking Accounts :
These allow you to frequently deposit and withdraw money. They are a great way to pay your monthly bills. When you open a checking account, it usually comes with a checkbook and an ATM MASTER CARD . There are usually minimum monthly balances and service fees, and these vary depending on the type of account you open. Most Nigeria only need a checking account.
Savings Accounts :
These are for long term deposits for accruing interest. The interests, minimum balances, and service fees will vary from bank to bank. As a Nigerian, you will probably not need a savings account.
Requirements for a USA Bank Account for Non Residents
#1. Valid National Id Card or Voter’s card or driver license.
#2. Valid Home Address
#3. Valid email address and mobile number.
#4. Correct Personal Bio.
How Much Does it Cost for a USA Bank Account for Non Residents?
This procedure will cost an equivalent of 5,000 NGN (approximately $14).
At the end of the exercise, you will receive a MasterCard which can be used for withdrawal at local ATM booths.
