Remember that time Lenovo released a Moto Z ad that basically threw major shade at Apple? Well, the phone is now available in Nigeria. True to the ad, Moto Z is unlike most devices in the market as it brings modular design that extends the phone’s functionality.

Moto Z isn’t the first device to do this, we saw it on LG G5, and Google’s cancelled Project Ara promised this. However, Moto Z comes with several extensions called Moto Mods that turn your smartphone into a whole different kind of gadget.

With these mods, you can transform the phone into a projector, a boombox or a powerful camera with up to 10x optical zoom.

It comes with a 5.5 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and runs Android Marshmallow out of the box. Moto Z is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. As for the storage, there’s a 64 GB internal storage, 4GB RAM and it supports microSD up to 256 GB. It comes with a 13MP with f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus, OIS and dual-LED. It has a 2,600mAh battery and there’s a fingerprint scanner for security.

At the moment, the phone will set you back by ₦230,000 if you’re buying on Jumia. If you’re also interested in taking serious photos with this device, the Hasselblad True Zoom Camera Mobile Mod is also available in Nigeria right now.
